Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms & conditions as they will inform you of everything you need to know about the agreement you will enter into once you accept a quotation from PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd to carry out all your drainage needs.

Our quotation is an estimate for the price of works unless stated otherwise.

Quotations for any Fixed Price Work are open for acceptance within 7 days providing that all work will start within 30 days, both periods being from the date of the quotation. If you decide that you would like us to begin work after this time, please contact us to discuss, in case the price needs to be re-evaluated in line with the times of work.

If you receive a quotation from us, please note this may be revised if you need additional work. There may well be an increase in the cost of materials and labour if further work is discovered which was not clear at the time of the quotation.

Emergency call outs:

Once the call out has been agreed with the customer/client whether residential, commercial or industrial and the customer/client cancels the attendance of our engineer prior to-or upon his/her arrival after the engineer having made efforts to attend, the customer/client will be liable to a cancellation fee of £100+VAT to cover time lost, travel, fuel, wages.

The works, unless otherwise notified, have been priced to be carried out between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 unless agreed prior to commencement and allowed for and agreed in the Contractor’s quotation. In the event that the Client changes the hours within which the works are to be undertaken, the client shall be liable for the Contractor’s additional costs. In the event that working time is lost on site due to delays caused either by the actions of the client, his Representative or by other Contractors employed by the client, the client shall be liable for the additional costs incurred by the Contractor. In addition, in the event that the Contractor experiences delays for which they are not responsible, the client shall be liable for the Contractor’s additional costs in relation to the additional setting up or out of sequence working.

PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd are legally responsible for all written quotations given by our drainage consultants.

All commercial works will be required to make payment in full upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed by PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd administration department prior to commencement. For any invoice unsettled we will exercise our statutory right to claim interest at 8% over the Bank of England base rate and compensation for the debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation, because we were not paid according to our agreed credit terms. The customer shall not be entitled to withhold payment of any amount payable to the company by reason of dispute or claim by the customer.

Once you have accepted a quotation from PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd we will carry out all the work necessary to complete the work described in our specification and the quotation subject to the conditions below.

Where we agree with you on the date and time for the work to be carried our engineer shall use his best endeavors to ensure that he attends at that date and time. However, we accept no liability for the non-attendance or late attendance of our engineer or for the late delivery of materials which are out of our control.

The time estimate supported is our best estimate of the likely time scale required for the work and we cannot accept liability for any cost, losses or expense of whatever nature incurred by you as a result of any delays outside of our control.

If you are a tenant, you may need your landlord’s permission to carry out the work covered within your quotation. PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd will assume that you have obtained such permission and will not accept any liability for any loss or damage.

All works will be carried out in a professional manner, but PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd will not be liable for any damage unavoidably caused to decorations, fittings and the like as a result of installing or disturbing existing pipe work, appliances, tanks, cylinders or other fixtures and fittings. (Applies to commercial/Industrial contracts).

Prior to the commencement of any works, you as a client shall inform us of any dangerous gases, liquids and any other materials of any nature which are present on the premises where works are to be carried out which could constitute a danger to us in carrying out the work. We will not be held liable if work can’t be carried out where we were misinformed.

PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd will not be liable for any fractured or frozen pipes and cannot guarantee to clear blockages occurring in a frozen pipe or drain.

PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd shall not have any liability for any failure to perform its obligations under this quotation if it is prevented from doing so by causes reasonably beyond its control, including unforeseen circumstances, such as industrial disputes, strikes, lockouts, Covid Lockdowns, fire, accidents or problems with the fabric of the building including the roof, or problems with goods being delivered on time by a third party.

PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd shall not have any liability for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage or loss of profit with the exception of damage for death or personal injury. The total liability of PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd under this agreement shall not exceed the price paid. Further, should any added work be required as a result of such unforeseen circumstances, you will be responsible for meeting the costs of such work.

Work carried out by PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd carries a full 12 months guarantee on our workmanship, this does not apply to recurring blockages above or below ground, internal or external where the client has been advised on remedial solutions and decided not to pursue. Guarantees on materials run per the manufacturer’s warranty periods where applicable. In case of a failure beyond the guarantee period we will be happy to investigate the cause and recommend a solution, but charges will apply for remedial work outside the guarantee period.

Any damage to PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd equipment due to fractured pipes, drains or conduits maybe liable by the client once the risks have been put forward the client and the client accepts the risk/s. Workmanship is only guaranteed where payment of the invoice is made in full.

This guarantee does not apply where work is carried out to poor quality installations or installations which are over 10 years old.

External drains, gutters and plumbing works exposed to the weather elements are not covered by any of PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd warranties, all liability rests with the material supply warranty and the property owner.

The consumer contract regulations gives you the right to cancel these services if you wish to do so. You have 14 days “cooling off” period from the date of signing of the contract. Should you cancel your order at any time prior to the commencement of the work, PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd may keep any paid deposit as a contribution towards any costs which it has incurred or the cost of parts and materials.

A quotation/invoice cannot be varied except in writing by PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd.

It is your responsibility to ensure that materials and tools held at your premises are safe and secure. Any losses of materials and tools on site are chargeable. (Applies to commercial/Industrial contracts)

Until full payment is made PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd has the right to repossess the material or goods.

Completed work may be photographed and used by PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd who own the copyright to such photographs. In case of unavailability of PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd engineers we retain the right to use a third party to sub-contract work so all work can be carried out in agreement subject to your quotation.

All subcontractors have no authority to incur liability on PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd behalf or to alter/amend contracts in anyway without the express written authority of PipeFlow drainage solutions Ltd. Independent contractors are responsible for any works they carry out and are therefore liable. Sub-contractors have been responsibly vetted by PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd and are actively managed enabling us to be confident in their abilities to provide the highest levels of service and represent PipeFlow Drainage Solutions Ltd. We reserve the right to decline any work.
